Terms and Conditions

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using Clannz, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service.

2. Use License

Permission is granted to temporarily download one copy of the materials (information or software) on Clannz for personal, non-commercial transitory viewing only. This is the grant of a license, not a transfer of title, and under this license you may not:

• Modify or copy the materials
• Use the materials for any commercial purpose
• Attempt to decompile or reverse engineer any software
• Remove any copyright or other proprietary notations

3. User Account

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password. You agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account or password. Clannz reserves the right to refuse service, terminate accounts, or remove content at its sole discretion.

4. Privacy Policy

Your privacy is important to us. We collect and use your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By using Clannz, you consent to the collection and use of information as outlined in it.

5. User Content

You keep all rights to the content you share on Clannz. You give us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, copy, process, resize and display it, only to run Clannz and to show it to the people you shared it with. Content shared inside a private clan, group or family stays inside it; a public clan's web page shows what that clan chooses to make public. This license ends when you or a clan admin delete the content, apart from copies we must keep by law or that remain in backups until they rotate out.

Invite links to a clan, a wish list or a Sorted list, and your calendar sync link, work for whoever has them. Share them only with people you mean to, and revoke or reset one you no longer want used.

6. Photos and Videos

Only share photos and videos you have the right to share. If other people appear in them, you must have their permission, and for anyone under 18 you must be their parent or guardian or have their parent or guardian's permission.

The Photo Library and event albums are for sharing with your clan. They are not a backup or storage service. We resize photos, convert some formats, and remove location and other details, so we do not keep your originals, and we do not guarantee that any photo or video will stay available. Keep your own copies.

Each clan has a storage allowance, currently 5 GB shared by its vault files, event albums and Photo Library. We may change it, and new uploads stop once a clan reaches it.

A photo or video is deleted for good when the person who shared it or a clan admin removes it, when a clan admin deletes the Photo Library's data or the clan itself, or when the person who shared it deletes their account. Deleted files cannot be recovered.

7. Prohibited Activities

You agree not to engage in any of the following prohibited activities:

• Violating laws and regulations
• Infringing on intellectual property rights
• Transmitting harmful or malicious code
• Harassing, abusing, or harming others
• Impersonating others or misrepresenting affiliation
• Sharing intimate images of anyone without their consent
• Sharing sexual images of anyone under 18. We remove them, close the accounts involved, and report them to the authorities.

8. Community Guidelines

Clannz is a platform for communities, groups and families. We expect all users to treat each other with respect and dignity. Harassment, hate speech, discrimination, or any form of abusive behavior will not be tolerated and may result in account suspension or termination. Our Code of Conduct sets out the rules in full.

9. Disclaimer

The materials on Clannz are provided on an "as is" basis. Clannz makes no warranties, expressed or implied, and hereby disclaims and negates all other warranties including, without limitation, implied warranties or conditions of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement of intellectual property or other violation of rights.

10. Limitations

In no event shall Clannz or its suppliers be liable for any damages (including, without limitation, damages for loss of data or profit, or due to business interruption) arising out of the use or inability to use the materials on Clannz, even if Clannz or a Clannz authorized representative has been notified orally or in writing of the possibility of such damage.

11. Modifications

Clannz may revise these terms of service at any time without notice. By using this service, you are agreeing to be bound by the then current version of these terms of service.

12. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and bar access to the service immediately, without prior notice or liability, under our sole discretion, for any reason whatsoever and without limitation, including but not limited to a breach of the Terms.

13. Governing Law

These terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Clannz operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

14. Health and fitness data

A clan that uses Forge may ask you to answer a health questionnaire and to log a few numbers a day, such as steps, sleep, weight or how sore you feel. Logging is optional. If you connect Apple Health or Health Connect, Clannz reads only the metrics your coach asked for, and your recent runs if you turn on Fill in runs, never writes to those apps, and you can disconnect at any time. What you log or sync is shown to you and the coach who asked for it, as described in our Privacy Policy. Forge is a tool for coaches and their members to organise training: it is not medical advice, and nothing in it diagnoses, treats or monitors a medical condition. Speak to a doctor before changing your training if you have a health concern.
